Ride to Provideis an annual charity bike event hosted by NFL Pro-Bowler, Lorenzo Alexander and Redskin Kedric Golston.Lorenzo, Kedric, current and former Redskin teammates -Ryan Kerrigan, Antwaan Randle El, Logan Paulsen, Nick Sunberg, Chris Wilson, Kai Forbath - and media personalities - EB & Cakes of The Sports Junkies from 106.7 The Fan and Mike Wise of the Washington Post will be joining our military heroes as well as hundreds of children and adults on the W&OD Railroad Regional Park Trail for a 10-53 mile scenic bike ride that begins and ends at Reston Town Center. The bike ride heads west on the trail toward Leesburg through the beautiful, Virginia countryside.
The bike ride is a fun and challenging event that lets both children, parents and the recreational and avid cyclist raise money for Lorenzo's ACES Foundation and Ride 2 Recovery, and Dare2tri Para- triathlon Club. There are four different distances to ride:
10 miles, 20 miles, 35 miles and 53 miles.
Meet and mingle with NFL and Redskin players, our Wounded Warriors, our media personalities and the Hogettes during the post-ride celebration at Reston Town Center where you'll enjoy music, food, and chances to win spectacular prizes and autographed items from Redskin players and sponsors. So, bring your wallets for chances to purchase and win.
All Riders will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for spectacular prizes. Some exciting items include a live sit in with the Sports Junkies, hotel packages at Lansdowne Resort, game day/training camp tickets, t-shirts, $50-$60 gift cards, autographed Redskin memorabilia and many more fantastic prizes! There will also be an autograph session with some of the Redskin players!
